D&G Hangzhou Tower
PCE designed an open sided three-flight stair this new store. The adjacent hollow clay block partitions were not suitable to support the stair so a solution was developed to clear-span the main flights and transfer load directly to the base building structure at the floor levels and quarter landing. In order to maximize headroom beneath the stair for changing rooms, shallow box-section stringer beams were used.
