New Global Flagship Store

This Peter Marino designed flagship store provided 2,500m2 of luxury retail space on two levels in the heart of the China World Trade Centre development.  PCE were appointed at an early stage to study a range of options for the substantial alteration of the existing structure.  Design and supervision duties included demolition of 350m2 of an existing two-level steel framed ‘annex’ and replacement with a new feature entrance portal, demolition and reconstruction of high-strength balconies at L2 & L3 to support a new 100m long façade, a feature ‘saw-tooth’ customer stair, customer lifts, back of house alterations and a new 16m link bridge to connect the store to the existing L2 retail mall.
