New Store with Feature Sawtooth Staircase
A feature saw-tooth soffit stair was required for this store presenting a structural challenge due to the lack of nearby supporting structure. PCE developed a solution using multiple laser-cut 12mm stringer plates to form the major stair flights and avoid the need for conventional deep stringer beams along the stair edge. These plates were connected to a concealed hanging frame within the half-landing display wall to avoid any ground level columns. The PCE scope included the base building alterations and a full-height back-of-house staff stair.
