Alexander McQueen Flagship Store, Chengdu, China
A bold straight flight stair with deep structural balustrades cutting across the lower floor of the two-level flagship is a feature of this store. Base building modifications were kept to a minimum though careful planning of the stair position. Very large onyx rock sculptures were also ‘scattered’ throughout the store where adequate capacity exists.
